“I thought that the literature that we had been given to read was puerile garbage. Oh, the characters were somewhat interesting but sadly underdeveloped, as were the plots.
I mean, just what was Dick always running from?
As soon as I had asked myself this question however, the answer flashed across my mind!
It was a metaphor. Dick had seen how society turned humans into hollow shells and he was running from it;
‘See Dick run! Run Dick, run!’
Anyone with any sanity would! Even a dog.”

“Oh, but I promised you a story about aliens now, didn’t I? Very well, have a seat, won’t you? You won’t be disappointed. Some tea?
First, I need to tell you a bit about myself. That way, you’ll know I’m not a lunatic but just an ordinary person, quite like yourself.
To begin with, my childhood was quite ordinary; average. I played all the typical childhood games; you know, calling down the lightening or leaving my body to assume some kind of animal form that would frighten the adults. They were always so easy to scare!
